To live, not to say...

To laugh, to read To see, to be. This is not a life truly lived. To shout and dance, To be silly and prance, Now this is the way to be.

Fortune and favour, Curate and care.

The latter and fatter and batter with the mad Hatter in his bright jolly cat lat-er oh if anything was said let it be to Pat Lacker. Forgive my interruption I just wanted a bit of life, not to be sounding like a wretched…sad…rat-er?

Back to it…

A dazzling silhouette across an ancient sky, And yet in the heart of it we find a way to sigh!

But no, no yet, to be and then forget. Let us whimpsy and be not so tipsy as to find a brilliant flipsy dipsy in a deck of ship tea with a queen and nothing else to be seen, but a mad hatter in his bright jolly cat lat-er…

Oh, I forget myself. Not quite the normal poem ay boy. Well, just beware of being a sad rater and get to being the crack back with a sacked plack of jolly dipsey and her mad hatter!!! ~ wink

But then, Be careful what you say, Why not simply think & be instead…

To walk and freeze, And catch the chilly bite of the breeze. To walk and talk, Or do nothing but listen… To footsteps and cars And foghorn bizarres. To look up there and see stars, See the kings of old, wrapped warmly in their scarfs. To put your hands in your pockets, And hug your own coat. Oh poet Ben poet Ben, This reminds me of an old friend. I know we’ve both changed, It’s really such a shame.

A fox trots by, magnificent and sleek. And the cloaks of darkness, worn deep into the path, Comes so close to making you fear; Until your eyes adjust and your head becomes clear, To see an exquisite sight, Dandy and indeed almost light, The beauty of a memory, Etched forever, in a long forgotten night.

Twas dead and gone, But I must recount. For I have seen a meteor, Wonderous and so fierce it almost shines with fright! I watched, and watched, and wondered for it to be, Then to see it die, and known the beauty it short lived was like a human life We live and live and live, Let’s just make sure we do it right.
